Flipmode refers to a state opisit to the &quot;normal state&quot;, in bustas case when he says filpmode is the squad he means that his squad of rappers is the best of the rappers on the flipmode, flipmode meaning hiphop in relation to the rest of the musical world. so in this analogy the musical world is the &quot;normal state&quot; and hiphop is the &quot;flipmode&quot;....get it?

 

I took it to mean that they &quot;flips modes.&quot; Meaning they have a lot of different styles that they are able to change up with ease.
