FCPGA is specifically for Pentium IIIE (Coppermine) and Celeron II CPU's. Essentially, it's the socketed form as stated above. PPGA was for Celeron CPU's with on-board cache. The chipsets are actually different though they look physically identical. It's important not to confuse the two, because they are not electrically compatible, although there are converters from both PPGA and FCPGA to Slot 1.
