I am looking for a board with onboard Lan, onboard sound and onboard video that is HIGH quality and for the cheapest possible price. Any opinions?

Any interest in nForce classic? Asus A7N266-VM is a proven board with onboard LAN, onboard video and superb 6-channel nVidia Soundstorm audio (including digital out, both optical and RCA), it takes all 200MHz- and 266MHz-based AthlonXP's up to 2600+, and of course it has an AGP slot for upgrading the video. 3-year warranty, $72. I have 19 at work with 2 more in the pipeline and they work well.

As for nForce2, haven't heard much from owners of the nF2 boards with the integrated video yet. Anyone else?

MSI K7N2G-ILSR

If you're not into overclocking, the Leadtek WinFast K7NCR18G-Pro is the best budget option, though no multiplier options until the Pro2 board comes out.

The 3D video on the nForce2 with graphics will be much better. However for the price difference of an MSI K7N2G ($120) over an A7N266-VM $72 (shipped) you could get an approximately equal Geforce4 MX440.

Doesn't have the onboard video he's looking for, unfortunately.

No onboard video for the mentioned model. You would have to get K7NCR18G-PRO Nforce2-GT which costs $145 and is not even available at the moment.

If he's not terribly concerned with gaming performance, mechBgon's susggestion of an original nForce with integrated video is probably the best bet, especially price-wise.

yea, go that instead....the only minus is its future upgradability isn't very good considering its limited to 2100ddram

I just picked up an MSI K7N2G-L from Newegg for $115 and set it up with an Athlon XP2100 and two 256 MB sticks of Kingston PC2700 DDR. Other than a little sound glitch that I still need to work through, I'm very happy with it. Video performance is fine for my needs and I play a lot of games.
