Full time slave - oops, I mean student at a Concentration Camp School - wait no, that's not what my school name stands for... :D

Other than that, I'm a part-time gamer, pianist, IT worker-in-training...

I work for a Securities (stocks and trading) Firm, in IT/MIS Dept.

My Title is; Technology Team Lead
My Responsibilities are; Tape Backups, Stock Trader Support, Outlook/Exchange Admin, Accounts Admin, Telco (Lucent PBX and IPC Turrets) and Second level Desktop Support.

But what I ACTUALLY do; Check 'Hot Deals' about 10 times a day (among other Net Deal sites), Post in OT, surf the net in general and as of this week I started playing Red Alert 2 with a Coworker. I only do that stuff above when I HAVE to. :)

And 'is it worth it'? As long as I'm learning and being challenged, then it is.

First year full-time student at UBC.

I have a "stable" part-time job at UBC Library Systems. Easy and relaxing.

I usually keep myself busy with at least 2 or 3 temporary contract jobs. Usually related to web design - DHTML, ASP, XML, etc.

I am currently teaching at a new UBC student society (AMS) initiative called "Mini School." I'm the instructor of the web design course. It's kinda cool to teach a bunch of 4th year and graduates. There are 16 women and 3 guys in my class. Cool, eh? :)

So that's what I do for a living. And no, I don't get parent support. I live on my own. But if my parents had paid my rent, I could've made a bunch of kick-@$$ rigs. :D

I'm a software developer for a food distributor. Creating intranet web based applications. The job is enjoyable, but not getting paid what I'm worth.;)
