First year full-time student at UBC.
I have a "stable" part-time job at UBC Library Systems. Easy and relaxing.
I usually keep myself busy with at least 2 or 3 temporary contract jobs. Usually related to web design - DHTML, ASP, XML, etc.
I am currently teaching at a new UBC student society (AMS) initiative called "Mini School." I'm the instructor of the web design course. It's kinda cool to teach a bunch of 4th year and graduates. There are
16 women and
3 guys in my class. Cool, eh?
So that's what I do for a living. And no, I don't get parent support. I live on my own. But if my parents had paid my rent, I could've made a bunch of kick-@$$ rigs.
