If your posts are found to have true meaning the moderator gods bestow upon a select few the custom title that fits you best.

FAQ

6. Information about the number of posts associated with member status can be found in the "Help" section. In addition to the status that occurs automatically based on post count, you will find another called "Elite". In this case, it is not based on number of posts but rather is granted by the forum Administrators based on input from the forum Moderators.

Elite members are those who have been supportive of the forums, and positively contributed in a variety of ways, whether it is being helpul answering hardware questions, tracking down trolls in For Sale/Trade or just simply bringing a few smiles to other members in Off Topic.

Custom titles are for the uber special like RossMAN and Brutuskend.

What is this???

There's a for sale/trade forum where people can sell off extra hardware and other things. Sometimes losers will accept payment and then not ship the item, or scam people etc.

those little short people with crazy hair (think Don King)

They are always running around the For Sale/For Trade forum. Users here "hunt" them (Tate comes to mind) and have gotten quite good at getting them. It's starting to become a popular sport.

Red was one of the pioneers in the FS/T forums of the intarweb.

He was wheeling and dealing systems before many of the dweebs here were sh!tting in diapers.

Was Red Dawn on AGN3D? And if so, did he use to run a website called Elite Hardware (or something similar?) which hosted Heatware?
