What does elite member, grand nagus, diamond member, ect mean

I see these things below people user names and I have been wondering for a long time what they mean.

There's a for sale/trade forum where people can sell off extra hardware and other things. Sometimes losers will accept payment and then not ship the item, or scam people etc.

They are always running around the For Sale/For Trade forum. Users here "hunt" them (Tate comes to mind) and have gotten quite good at getting them. It's starting to become a popular sport.
