What does "De-Assert CPU core voltage" mean?

Hey starting a new thread for this question since the other thread I started was about CMOS post codes and might attract the wrong people

It gives me 9.6 in the post code which is "De-Assert CPU core voltage" - I have no idea what that means

To assert a digital signal means to take it to it's "on" value. To deassert it means to take it to it's "off" value. I've never heard the term applied to power signals until now - just to digital communications signals.

I agree with AnnihilatorX - contact the manufacturer.
