In my bootlog.txt analysizer (for an super7 system, not the A7V), I find that it takes 14 seconds to finish the task. What does this program do? How to disable it (if this is permitted). I can't find this program in the msconfig.

That program sets up the system for Dos Games, it should only run when you fire up a Dos based game.

Yes, but do not delete it, you never know, you may need it some day, and it will not even net you a meg or two more of space, and with you 15 GB drive that is nothing.

Look in your autoexec.bat and config.sys for the line. In reality, unless you have some special drivers loading via those two files, you are safe renaming them to .bak and deleting them.

It might be corrupted. I can't say that for sure. Try downloading the same file from the same version of windows and replace the file.

Dos4gw was a 32 bit DOS extender for 32 DOS programs written using the Watcom C compiler. You must have something running on startup that uses it. By itself, that program doesn't do anything.

it's blank in the config.sys. In the autoexe.bat, I only check(tick) Norton AV(which take 12 seconds to load/scan on boot up).
