What does Black Ice do?

Just wondering what Black Ice will do for me.

Would it protect me if I were to turn on Remote Desktop and setup a password etc. Would black ice provide additional security from hackers?

Try zone alarm, there's a free version and most would say it does a better job.

I agree with Soybomb. Zone Alarm.

"EDIT" Black Ice is a firewall.

I've used both and ZoneAlarm is a much better piece of software. Especially for ease of configuration.
