What does being a Lifer mean?

Let's face it, Lifers post. Alot. Now, is being a lifer a good thing. Is being one of ATOT's ruling elite a sign of your dominance or lack of a life outside ATOT?

It could mean a lot of things. I'm sure plenty of people do 10+ posts daily while at work. That adds up fast over the months and years.

As I have said since the beginnig of time, Postcount means absolutely nothing. In fact, I tried selling mine on Ebay, and getting it changed to zippo. But nope.

Wow. This thread can be summarized quite accurately with "ATOT Senior and Diamond Members Green with Envy". Especially nick1985. He's getting real close.

All I have to say...RossMan is a lifer. And he has a life. Same for the Skoorbs. With some luck, I'll make lifer by 2k6

Heh.

This is how I think of it. Yeah, its an amazing amount of posts, but it just matters how long you've been registered. Some lifers have been registered less than a year, thats just crazy. While some others like myself, are a bit over half way there, registered for about 4 years. Mathimatically, at this rate, I'll be a Lifer around 2.5-3 more years. But I posted more now than I did 4 years ago, so I believe I will likely hit it sometime in mid 2005 to early 2006.

5 years... 10000 posts, its not that bad. According to a quick calculation off the top of my head, you post more often than I do, despite the fact I have more than 20x your postcount.
