What does adjusting the I/O voltage do?

What does it do....exactly?

What is spread spectrum modulation? I did a bios update on my ABIT and it's now available.

Thanks,

not sure bout that spectrum thing, but i remember on my old OLD fic board, it would overclock better off, but i could only use the onboard sound with it on... something to do with the bus speeds of the pci slots i believe...

as for I/O voltage, it's the voltage going to your pci/agp cards, some devices when clocked may need a lil more than the standard to run stabily

"If the setting is on, radio frequency noise is reduced, but the system is probably a little less stable since the clock edge occurs at slightly irregular times. If you were submitting a system for FCC approval, you would enable the setting. But for most users it should be disabled, the case already provides adequate environmental protection against RF noise".
