What does a physical generally involve?

First, let's get the obligatory "turn your head and cough" reference out of the way.
I would imagine that for a simple physical all they'll do is the finger prick to get a small blood sample. I doubt that they'll need to even use a hypodermic to draw the blood.

On a side note, I've been given exams by female doctors before....never popped a woodie, allthough that is a big fear.

Hernia check(turn and cough)
Check for heart murmur
Check reflexes(little hammer thingy on knee)
Check eyes and ears with little light scope dealybob
Poke and prod your back and belly
Probably point out that you are above the "recommended" BMI for good health even though everything else is perfect

I had the INS physical in Halifax NS actually. Its not a normal physical. Very basic but the questions they ask will will make you laugh. He told me "All the US cares about is if your gonna cost them money" They took at least one vial of blood, maybe two.

Physical will involve a lengthy medical history & have questions like: "Have you ever had sex with a man?"
The exam is pretty simple, prob a gown for easier access to your bod, they'll ask: "Have you ever had sex with a man?" again.
Bloodwork should be straightforward, but will involve a needle stick & they'll ask: "Have you ever had sex with a man?" again...
TB test is an intradermal injection, or a prick with a 3 pronged device, you'll need to be checked in 72 hours to see if you've had a reaction to the test (negative is no bump or redness), they'll ask: "Have you ever had sex with a man?" on your follow up visit...

Never had to do that for mine which is good since the doctor was 5 hours from my house. The part about asking about the sex with a man is not far from the truth though

It's a man doctor - he works with mrsskoorb from time to time. Apparently he doesn't take much sh*t.
I really hope he doesn't grab my balls. I've had it done before, but on top of 2 or more injections, blood test, blood pressure (I hate that), and all else I really don't need my freaking nuts grabbed as well. Maybe I'll shave tonight to humor him. This is gonna cost me over $300 as well :|
