What does a lifer mean to you?

There are several members here who are lifers, although to some of you, it might be different. What's your opinion of a lifer?

I was a lifer until my account got toasted. I really don't care about post count. I'm sure eventually my post count will get that high again in a few years.

When I first think of "lifer" I think of two things:

Either a guy in jail for life;

or a guy who is in the military for life.

It'll take a while before ATOT's "Lifer" filters up the list. Sorry ATOT lifers!

Usually when I see a postcount that high I immediately think "internet-addicted loser." I make special exceptions for the awesome lifers like Ryan and RossMAN.
