Do all blind people wear sunglasses?

No. Most visually impaired people who wear sunglasses have some vision, and wear sunglasses because their eyes are sensitive to bright light. Some totally blind people choose to wear sunglasses to protect their eyes, or if their eyes are disfigured, but there are many blind and visually impaired people who don't wear sunglasses.

I doubt it's total darkness.. if it was, what is the point of blind people wearing sun glasses?
To look cool of course.
Mostly so you can't see their pupils wandering while you're talking to them.

Really? I always thought it was because it was too bright without them

how could it be too bright, if they can't see anything at all?
its not like they have a huge sun in front of them, and sunglasses block that sun out. whatever they see, is directly caused by the optic nerve and their eyes. they do not see anything that exists beyond the eyes on the outside of their body. so they dont see light, and most definitly cannot block out light they cannot see.

now yes, there are different kinds of blindness.. but i think that anyone who has had blindness for a long time, most notably those who are born blind.. yes, their other senses pick up the slack, and they gain amazing feats. maybe it something along the lines of someone who is tripping.
i dunno, next time u see someone who you believe to be blind... kindly ask them, saying that you are very curious and wish to know what they experience.

edit: saw your new post... so take back that first comment of mine, because well... your explanation kinda helps ;)

i would guess nothingness.

it would be like us having a 6th sense that we don't have. say you have the ability to see other people's thoughts. you lose that sense, now you don't see their thoughts. i think it would be the same for sight.

i think people born blind, connect with life much better
much like anyone on LSD does... i think they see the world in a different way, maybe a more real way. i dunno... definitly can't forumulate my thoughts into words... just think along those lines :)
