What does 2032 Compliant mean?

I had a customer call up and ask if a digital camera was 2032 compliant, he was told to do this by a friend. He had no idea what it meant, nor did I. I google search didn't come up with anything useful. I'm thinking maybe it could be an inside joke or something? Any ideas??

Thanks!

2032 is supposedly the next time a Y2K bug could surface. and actually I thought it was 2038.

Considering all the *nothing* that happened over Y2K, i dont think anythign else will happen over this stuff in 2032.

I thought it was 2038 (the year when the 32 bit unix time code would roll over)

Edit:
One is the Unix system
clock which counts "seconds since 00:00:00 UTC, January 1, 1970"
in 2^31 bits. This clock might roll over in early 2038, except that
by then we'll be working with (at least) 64-bit Unix which won't
have a roll-over problem for a very long time.

Yeah, I'd laugh my a$$ off if somebody asked me about that (asuming thats what he meant by 2032 compliant)

My question is this... who thinks that they will still be using their current digital camara in 2032?!? That is 27 years from now! By then the USB interface may no longer exist.

Also, this reminds me, I used to work at Staples in the computer department, and some wiseckrack a$$clown acts like he was going to buy one, and asks me if the computer has PCI or ISA expansion slots. What a tool.
