What do you write in an introductory statement

Don't think I ever wrote one - usually just introduced myself personally.

But this time most of the team is overseas, and I need to tell smth about myself. I suppose I could write I wear assless chaps and listen to Disco music. Anything skill-wise I should add before that?

 
Good Afternoon Team..

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Paulney and for the next, god knows how many days, i'm going to make your life a living hell. I'm your supervisor, so i have to do things that upper management tells me, and most of this involves pushing you to your limits.

For those of you who like to work... you will work. For those of you who hate to work, you should resign now. I didn't make it to upper management to be chasing after no-brains all day. I will weed you out as fast as i can. I'll be damned if i'm gonna do work that i shouldn't.

In closing, the company requires i tell you all my door is always open incase you need everything. In reality, i'll probably be in meetings all day with my supervisors, and other corporate people, telling them how much you people piss me off, so my door wont be open much. If you need anything, talk to my secretary, that's what she's paid to do.
