What do you want out of life?


I really dont know what I want anymore. I have never wanted kids, I dont have any desire to get married....

I'm just live day to day. Does it even really matter? So what if I die tomorrow? There are billions of humans on this planet. Ain't nothing special about any one in particular.

your desire changes as you grow up / mature

as a baby all i cared about was "feed me"
when i was in high school all i wanted was to do well in school (ok i was a nerd)
in college it was do well (nerd) and get ready for the job market (internships etc)
a few years back was to get promoted
now i not being promoted, :( i want out of my job. more money

im sure someday i'll want a family, kids of my own, etc...

I'm living in a food heaven country.
Always looking forward to a delicious meal from day to day..

looking forward to get a comfortable living I suppose.
And perhaps settle down towards late 20s and early 30s..
all I can think for now, Don't want to plan too far ahead.


as for you, if marriage isn't the goal .. as yet,
maybe think about travelling somewhere.
Meeting different people. Hanging out with friends always do bring some zest in life.

I dont know why this is bothering me. I goto work every day, i come home I sleep. Maybe its just work getting to me. I just think, what am I working twards?

Working towards continuing to live as you do....kind of sad when you think about it.

i think at some point we all thought that. so say i give you all the money you want, what then? you have a nice family with no problems, what then?

the purpose of life is to LIVE your life. be it sad, happy, redundant, or pointless. it's all part of life. (im not religious so i ain't gonna say anything like "god has a purpose for you" cuz frankly i dont think even a divine being can assign purpose for each and every one of the living thing in this universe.

just be happy you're not a cockroach. or a rat. or a mushroom.

All I want is someone to love and to love me back. Yeah, I'm in a sappy, emotional post-breakup depression. But in all seriousness, I'm the kind who is generally happy no matter what. Just being alive is good enough for me, but to be completely fulfilled, all I need is a soulmate. I don't need to be wealthy or successful or even well-liked. I enjoy life no matter what.

any particular reason you don't want to get married? maybe you haven't found the right one.

i always told myself that i would never get married. then i met brian, and well, we've been married for 2 months come friday. :) life has so many presents to give us if we open up to it.
