It's very nice to carry just the essential cards and not have an inch of crap in my back pocket.

My gf gave me a new wallet for Christmas last year (I had asked for a new one to replace my other one which was over 9 years old!).

She gave me a Royce. They're not that expensive (I see around $30 at most places, though this one was closer to $45 I think). So they're not that pricey. It's about to be a year old now and it still looks absolutely spotless. Not a single stitch is loose and the leather really is a fantastic variety (definitely not a cheap leather).

Oh yeah, all I want for Christmas is just being with the girl again for my few weeks that I get. Then separation till next summer. If I can have some peace and quiet to relax next to her and watch some TV, that's big to me. That's all I want every Christmas.

That will quickly accelerate. I had the same problem. I give you 3 months before you can't make it through a song without it locking up.
