What do you use to watch DVDs

I just got my first DVD type drive.. before I starting ripping and burning... what dvd encoder player is good just to watch a DVD. And whats a good program to copy it to my harddrive?

I use Zoomplayer which can be found here using ffdshow codecs here while using WinDVD's video codec through ffdshow.

You can find a guide here to help you get it all arranged.

I watch them in WMP10...:Q

I use DVD Shrink for backup purposes, though sometimes I use DVD Decrypter when watching movies that don't match my drive's own region.

Media Player Classic with the Combined Community Codec Pack. plays mostly everything i throw at it.

For Ripping:
DVD Decrypter
DVD Shrink
DVDFab
(like the guy 4 post's up)

For Viewing:
I have VLC and Media Player Classic, plus some codec packs like ffdshow (<-spelling?)
