what do you use to take off hfs w/epoxy?

how do i take a heatsink off when it has epoxy attach it to the mobo?

You have a problem there. You could try to twist it gently immediately after running the board, with the power to the board off of course. On vid cards, I have had Limited luck of placing the card in the freezer for about an hour, then gently twisting the sink. DO NOT PULL UP on the sink. Your chances of success is prob about 30/70 as to getting the damn thing off without ruining the board.

There are some guides on the net if you do some google digging. I've read about the freezing option, but never tried it myself. Be careful you don't run the mobo after freezing it because there may be condensation on the board...

would acetone (nail polish remover) dissolve it? I know it takes off superglue, but I'm not sure about epoxy...
