What do you use to spike your hair?

I've been using "Spiker" ever since I started spiking my hair. It has the consistancy of glue for those that havn't used it. It works well when my hair is shorter. Works like crap when my hair becomes longer. This means I have to get my hair cut more often. Im lazy and cheap and I am hoping there is something better out there.

I used to use max la looks gel

Now i use blue colored bed head stuff.... good for spiking or styling.

american crew firm. Also use their shampoos, my hair isn't weighed down as much from the crap that you get from $3.00 shampoos.

American Crew Texturizing Cream

Works very well, and looks way more natural than gel. I hate how gel not only makes my hair hard as a rock, but flakes off like dandruff when I run my hand through my hair. The cream works really well and looks pretty good too!

I find the old "finger in the electrical socket" trick works very well. Plus, it has the added bonus of waking you up pretty darn quickly in the morning. For maximum effect, run your hand under the water first.

I like wax better than gel - as it doesn't make your hair crispy and flaky.

The best thing I've found, as odd as this may seem, is Murray's hair pomade. It's odd because it's made for black people (and I'm not black) - you'll find it in the "ethnic hair care" section of Target or wherever. It's like $2 for a can that will last about a year. It's a small orange tin, you can't miss it.

I use Fructis and Sebastian molding mud..

And to the person that posted "There's something about Mary" you beat me to the punch 😀
