What do you use to hang your posters?

I just ordered 4 posters from allposters.com and I went to try and find frames for these things and it was not happening. They are all 23" X 35" and require custom frames $$$.

I was thinking of that sticky putty stuff but I am not sure if it sticks for a long time. I don't want to use tape because if I take down the posters I don't want the tape to rip it. Tacks...I don't want to put holes in the posters.

I want to hang them as cleanly and nicely as possible with nothing showing on the exterior side. Let me know guys!

Those easy to remove 3M wall hangers. Sticky tack pulls off paint. tape messes up the poster.

I found a local printing company that meade me some frames for my odd size ones

$28 a piece, not cheap, but they are great. I have a lot of posters (movie buff) the standard size ones I buy the frames at wal mart. They run about $15 a piece.

3M makes Poster Tags. They are nice, find them at Wal-Mart in the office supplies section.

Dead kittens.

Actually those 3M things usually work great. Either that or a good putty.

Yeah but my sizes are:

23 X 35
34 X 24
55 X 39
36 X 24

Which are all oddball sizes so I don't think generic poster frames will work.

i dont like the putty stuff because it seems to leak a waterry substance through the posters after a while.

Wallmart man, they sell large poster frames for $9.99. The quality isn't the greatest but it's better than no frame and you can't beat the price. I've also got an IKEA up the road where I get 19x27 glass frames for $9.99. For the larger posters I get em from Wally World, I think they're like 25x35.

Yeah, don't use that sticky putty stuff. If it's hot outside/inside, the posters will just fall down. Also they f#ck up posters. I screwed up a nice Iron Maiden poster that way.

Landlord is gonna love me when she sees the nails, screws, holes for wire, etc ive put in the wall. But honestly, its nothing that 5 minutes of patchwork and paint cant fix. You must have an uptight landlord.

I use tacks on flags, e-tape on posters. I'm odd. (that is, long "rolls" or e-tape - one along each edge of the poster)

You think you got problems?
I got the 60x40 Pulp Fiction poster for 12 bucks.

Good deal huh?
Guess what?

It cost 215 freaking dollars to mount.

For you issue, I recommend getting a 26x36 frame from WalMart or KMart and slipping it in. The white edges dont really look all that bad.

Jesus Christ, he said he didn't want holes in his posters, so stop saying nails/tacks, my god.
