Okay, i'm almost 19. My face isn't full of acme, i just have problems with some various blemishes that are reoccuring. I can't even drink a glass of pop / eat a candy bar / have pizza without something breaking out the next day. I haven't really given any types of creams or solutions a try and I was wondering what works the best for anyone? Sometimes my face is clear for about a week but then i eat the wrong thing and *boom*.

What should I use to help ? :p

EDIT
I went out and bought that Stridex cooling anti-bacterial Foaming wash.... wow... it really made a difference. I think I have a reaction to the regular bar soap... but I woke up today and my face was 40% better than it was previously. :) ...that stuff really makes your face cold. lol

i use that Clearasil daily face wash stuff in the shower and at night.

It works pretty well. Those pad things irritate the hell out of my face

Heh, try Sea Breeze. That crap can strip tar off a highway...

Just wash your face often and keep your hands off of it. I never had as bad of a problem as many I saw/used to know, so I must have done something right. :)

I use soap and water.

BTW, ever considered seeing a specialist? Sounds pretty bad to me if a glass of pop causes all that to your face.

I usually use that Clearasil stuff that was mentioned, but I prefer the Clean & Clear stuff with microscrubbers when I remember to buy it.

no matter what people say, acne is not found to be caused by eating certain foods. however...a proper diet and less junk food will lead to better skin. just eat healthy and see if it goes away, if the problem persists see a dermatologist.

also, do you think you may be allergic to some kinds of foods? maybe they're just hives.

Yeah, this sounds more like a reaction to something as opposed to just acne.

You might want to bring this up w/ your doctor, if it is something you are allergic to, it's best to find out so you can just avoid it altogether.

when they decide to break out...
there's really nothing you can do to prevent em.

one thing that worked for me is...
drink lots of water.
and wash your face often.

I use that new Nivea for men stuff, they have a face wash and an exfoliate. Their stuff is quality. Doesn't dry out your face (bad). I also use their after-shave balm, also good. I think Nivea is German? Just another fine product to come out of Germany :)

I start with Johnsons Baby Shampoo. The I use a gentle Apricot scrub with a seaweed rinse. Then I gently massage my facial muscles for a half an hour before finishing with an astringent. Then I go out and kill myself for not popping my zits and using soap....
