Well, I am going to act as a Public Service announcement and encourage EVERYONE to try douching with a neti pot.

And yes, tomorrow is a day off of work for me, so I can afford to post wildly. :p

HOW exactly does this pot work?

Well, first you fill it with purified, lightly salted, 98-99 degree water. Then, while breathing through your mouth, pour it from one nostril to the other. Your sinuses are washed out by the process.

Kind of like an enema for your nose.

:wine:

Yep.. and it works, very, very well.

It flushes out any sinus infections you have.

Let me just take this moment to say,

I love you, Eli!

You might not remember this, but the first thread I ever posted in here was one you were in, about the FDA.

Voted Zyrtec, but I really use just about anything I can get my hands on.

Neti Pot (google it)

I'm going to try some of that Clariten or Clariten generic knockoffs when I need some.

I don't even use the neti pot lately as my allergies are not nearly as bad as they used to be. We had a really high pollen count the other day and all I did was sniffle a little bit. Maybe I was allergic to some mold or something at my last residence? Not sure what was going on.

I use nasalcrom, I might order the neti pot, looks like a good way to really clean whatever I am allergic to in my nose.

What don't I use for my allergies? I mean, c'mon people, isn't that the real question here?

Nasonex. The other medications interferred with a medicine I had to take for my stomach:eek:
