what do you use for remote support ?

I'm curious about this myself..... I've used remote assistance and remote desktop, but it's a pain in the butt to have the clueless person .....errrr.. I mean, help recipient figure out how to forward ports in their router or enable ports in the windows firewall etc.

What's the easiest way to help out folks behind a router?
