What do you think the next Failout will be?

Given that the majority of states are in trouble are in trouble (granted, this says shortfalls, which are really nothing new for most governments), I think that there is a real possibility of a lot of extra money going to them. Unfortunately, the hole could be bottomless, but if NY is any indication, the government, though slimming things up, is unwilling to make the major slashes it really needs to, and other than deficit or more taxes, it will need Uncle Sam to help out.

CCs are really without a doubt going to be making more headlines within the next several months, but I don't know how failing them out additionally would compare to money the same banks can already get out of TARP, so in a way they already are getting some assistance, I think.

Citicards did too, now that I think about it--not changed, rather, but got I think $25B.

I'm waiting for the Uncle Sam 24 hour everything must go sale.
24 hours when anyone who wants money gets to carry home as much as they can cart out.

If all these banks are getting bailouts our debt that equals their bailout amount should be dismissed.

All these companies getting a free ride, while I continue to work my ass off and am still short every week is beginning to suck. Fuck these companies, let them fail so things will evolve.

Same thing I and I'm sure many others are thinking.
I'm sitting here trying to figure out how I am going to give Christmas gifts and still pay the rest of my utilities for the month. While they get a bailout.

States. MI already has its hand out and is expecting money when Obama takes office.

Fallout 4?

Seriously, CC is up next - government is already taking steps to curb it but could be catastrophic.

I think on the plus, though, I believe something like only $2T in actual debt exists. Most people are ok, so even if half of it was a write-off, what's another $1T? Certainly it's going to ass-jam a lot of individuals, though.

You live in a capitalist system, not communist. If you have money, then you have power (i.e. leverage to affect decisions on who gets bailout).
