As I mentioned in another thread, I am looking for a high quality, low cost 17" LCD with DVI input. If you have bought such a monitor in the past year, please post here with the make/model and your own "mini-review". With 17" LCDs becoming so popular now, I think this would be helpful to me and many others as well.
I'll start with the only LCD in my office, a NEC LCD1715 bought in January 2004. It's a 1280x1024 17" LCD with analog VGA input only. The refresh rate is not fast enough for gaming, but it's fine for office use. The only problem is it's **VERY** picky about the VGA input. Image quality is fine on a Radeon 9600 Pro and a Matrox G450, but it's very blurry when used with onboard graphics on an Intel 845G based motherboard, onboard graphics on a Via EPIA-M motherboard, or with a cheap no-name NVidia MX440 PCI graphics card.
