What do you think of WMP 9?

wmp9 4ever. I been using it forever and like it. Use it for everything you can name.. music, porn, videos, porn, movies and oh ya porn. Ya thats the only media player on my pc and i only have divx codecs installed.. you know why you need divx codec..? ya you do

WMP9 for everything - It automatically works with the stop/play/pause etc. hotkeys on my keyboard (winamp doesn't), I love the "Minimise to Taskbar" feature and it loads quickly and plays everything.

Biggest problem with WMP9 is that it uses the Kmixer for everything.

Foobar and Winamp have ASIO and Kernel output.

I like Foobar alot.

Kernel output is nice.

I forgot, since it's been a while since I used kernel streaming in foobar and in linux.......optical output in windows, does it bypass the windows mixer?

If I actually got video when I click a link in IE, I'd like it.

Still then I'm stuck with QuickTime + Winamp.

Oddly though, video links work in Opera, Firefox, and copy paste into run menu.

Reinstalled IE and WMP9.

It's great when it works, but I prefer the simplicity of winamp.

mines not working...when i try to click wmp a popup that says g on top and ok or cancel on the bottom...when i click ok it goes to a popup that says tghe system must be restarted for installation...whe i restart the same thing pops up

any help

WMP9 for me..
I agree about the winamp crappy playlist.. which is exactly why I don't use it. WTF can't even sort by artist(please don't tell me you could get blah blah plugin, i'm not wasting my time to find that)

Not by itself- you still have to use ASIO or Kernel output. AC3/DTS pass-through in DVD software does, but for some reason that has never translated to audio software.

That's exactly why I use Opera instead of FireFox. 🙂

I use winamp because it kicks the llamas ass. Also I have been using it since beta, and haven't had any problems with it, so I will stick with it.
