I need to update my graphics very soon and just can't decide what to go for along the 8800 route, my current PC spec is:
Asus Striker Extreme Mobo
Intel Quad Q6600 @ 3GHz
Crutial Ballsitix DDR2 1066MHz
2 x BFG 7900GTX graphics cards in SLi
Machine runs damm quick and I can play most things in 1920x1200 maxed out like HL2 and Counterstrike etc but now ive started playing Crysis I can only run the 7900's in 1280x1024 with medium settings which looks pant on my 24" due to native res being 1920x1200.
Anyway, been looking at reviews on various GT, GTS and GTX 8800's and for now want a single powerful 8800 card with the provision on adding another one later on.
What do you think of this? I am a fan of BFG cards having used them for years now so would like to stick to them really, but im open to suggestions, I like this one because its clocked quite high already: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/...rodid=GX-042-BG&tool=3
Any help or suggestions appreciated
