what do you think of this site layout?

I absolutely plan on colorizing it. this is just a base color that will eventually be changed. the site is going to be a trading site with online auctions, classifieds, and personal pages. I have a static navigation menu on the left (options change when you login to expose member only features). I'm trying to keep the site size within svga standards. Basically, everything will be similar to this layout, with the tables, etc... Once this svga format is done, i will expand it for a higher res browser, which will be detected by a browser check......

it only looks correct in IE at the moment.

i just added the site into IIS and used a new iP.

i'm rebooting the server now. I may have to make a change in the firewall.

can you try again? from within my network, I can pull the page up. other sites on the server come up fine from the outside...

Try hitting your site through a remote HTTP proxy; here's a list. That way you can see when your page loads.

Or, even easier, try uTorrent's port checker just to see if your firewall is open.
