If you look at the banners at the top of the picture I think it's pretty aparent that it is indeed a photochop.

A bad stitch job does not mean it's a faked photo.

They probably did run it through PS, it's one way to stitch the ~6 photos together.
 
That Pic is indeed real: It's "The Gathering" in Hamar, Norway and it is held every year.

The worlds BIGGEST gaming LAN 😀

They use a Hockey Stadium and pack 4500 gamers in it. Have a 1GBit internet connection. Their Network setup is pretty cool, considering the size of the party:
