I want a new PC case...something that's unique and will look cool when playing MP3's. What do you all think of this:

Kind of reminds me of a jukebox

The light inside is sound sensitive too (and you can turn it off if needed).

Looks pretty cool. I've checked it out before. If you want to add more sound sensitive cathodes, pcmods sells the sound thingies.

All you need is a mirror ball hanging from the ceiling and you're set :)

Hahah.

Have you seen this ?

It gets the sounds straight from the sound card so nothing can disrupt it. (Like the cars outside or someone yelling at you.)

Not a bad looking case, but it's what's on the inside that counts, and you have to watch out for cheapness with some inexpensive cases.

If only the bubbles moved up the column. I wonder what it would take to do this? Alcohol filled tubes with incandescent lights at the bottom?

I'd want one with an actual rectangular window. I have an Antec Lanboy case with is pretty nice because I was looking for something small however, the window could be a little bigger.

I don't like any computers with crazy colored lights and fans inside.

Call me utilitarian, I guess.

I have that case...but in full silver....and with a larger non flower shaped window on the side....it's cool....have 4 LED fans and a 30cm LED Cathode tube inside, no case I have had previously has impressed people nearly as much as this one.

And as for build quality?...very very good....and the 350W PSU that came with mine is very good too....35A on +5V, 28A on +3.3V and 16A on +12V.

The bubbles are fixed and the lights at the top remain the same colour while the bottom ones change colour.

This case @ Ebuyer UK

I have a case similar to that one without the fruity color bars on the side of the front. Cooling on that case sucks I have several fans including a 120mm intake and case temps are 35c

They used to do this in old jukeboxes....I might look into that :) Nice idea!

As for all the "ghey" comments, I'm putting this in a room with a 50's theme, so I think it fits in nicely.

??????? This thing has a side mounted fan, two fan mounts in back, and a fan mount in front...my current case only has two fan mounts and runs at 103 F (Anything 100-110 is normal for a P3). I don't think this is the same case.

I've built a system using that case. It looks very nice on the outside, but this thing is so fricken cheap. I have a scar on my thumb from the cheap burred edges. It seriouly almost went to the bone and I was debating getting stitiches. It cut me twice and lacerated my friend pretty bad too. Don't buy it if you don't like blood on your PCB. I don't think there's a single deburred edge in the whole case.

Definately would be a really cool idea. I just don't know how to go about it. What kind of alcohol would you think could work? Incandescent flashlight bulbs I think would work fine. Although some experimentation is required.

IMO, it's ugly, and even moreso in reality (the pictures of it don't capture its fugliness, much like photos don't capture how good Thermalright heatsinks look)
