Of course, if he's already on a budget and has broken it, there's no way he can afford an A64.

oh and I saw your post about your system I would recommend the asus p4p800 deluxe over the abit board better stock features, and sound

I would wait on the hard drives, as many places are offering crazy deals on HD after rebates. I bought a 250gb WD two weeks ago from compusa for 145 ( already got the rebate check), and a 80gb for $35 after rebate also. I got a 160GB from Circuit city a few months ago for $25 after rebate and pm. So be patient and wait for a good sale

The cdrw--that liteon model from newegg is a new model that you cant update the firmware--check http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?s=27e05cce694cadd755fe8cd66d4a34e3&threadid=85712 for info--I just bought one, and it didnt work out very well, and I returned it.

get the nec dvd writer at newegg for like 115 I belive it writes at 6X dvd+r

and the case is cool, but if you are going to run a p4 please spend the money on a good power supply--no less than a 380W antec, or enermax. this is the last place you want to skimp on as when you updgrade you will have ot continue to updgrade the power supply also, or it will just blow on you--I speak from experience
