I do think it has a ring to it, a nice name, but unfortunately MushroomStamper is right - it can never be disassociated from the car!!

Mercedes is a a rich, little spoiled brat who pouts and throws temper tantrums at the saleslady because the liz claiborne skirt that she is trying to buy doesn't come in a size 0 - Now is that really the image you want to put on your daughter by naming her Mercedes?

If you ever spent time around a lot of hispanic families, the name is very common. In Spanish it sounds prettier.

I guess most of you guys don't know, but it's a popular name in Latin America...It also sounds better in Spanish, and in Europe too. Shortening it to Mere-ce (pronounce it phonetically) also works in Spanish, and not English. An American naming the kid that, not so much, but some sultry Columbian Chick named Mercedes....much better idea

edit: I know the page is in Denmakr, but this isn't such a bad looking Mercedes, eh?
