I like what you have so far - especially the gray lines crossing through widescreeen.

how'd you do that? :confused:

seems to run fine now, duno, wierd...those 3 moving lines at the bottom seem to be done alot in flash animation...and shouldnt the widescreen part shrink vertically?

personally i'm not a fan of the all red background at the beginning, seems too bright. good flash work though.

updated....

and i have it go from 4:3 aspect ratio to 16:9 so it shouldnt shrink anymore...

So far so good. I'm not into the red color, but that's just my personal preference. Give it some content. :)

Looks good, but the "Might as well use it" part just irks it, as its grammatically incorrect. :p

Nice masking job on the widescreen. Very evident use of Ease in/out also. ;)

When you create an "intro", you want it to have an impact, something with a fast pace (or quick-beat sounds if you so desire) works well. Right now, it's functionally fine as an info site (once you add real links), but lacks a flash flavor, other than the fact that it's done in flash. ;)

your white fade...the edges...there's a contast there, I can't put my finger on it, but the edges look slightly bordered.
