if I did the currency conversions right a tie and shirt is around $140 USD...I dunno if I am right though.

The amounts are already in dollars, thank god. On sale, the shirts start at $50. Ties $37.

everyone is different but i am not a huge fan of big squares on a shirt. i prefer it when a man dressed in an understated way. pin stripes or just plain.

unless it is a flannel shirt.

😉

Most look pretty good.

Most important thing is HOW they fit on YOUR BODY though.

When you have time, take a look at some shirts from, Ted Baker (London), or Ike Behar (New York). A few dollars more, but super premium and some cool stuff. They will last for many years.

The shirts you linked look pretty nice.

Just went to the Ted Baker site.. those shirts don't look formal.. just extremely expensive trendy...

I could be wrong.. and they do look nice for what they are.

Edit: After further review, the Sea Island line looks very nice. There's some nice stuff to choose from there.

I do agree that some Ted Baker stuff is 'club cool' but a lot of his stuff is also 'boardroom doable'. I have a few that go nice under a Brook Brother suit and a few that work in Vegas. 🙂

Now Ike Behar runs from 'boardroom' to 'beach club prints'. Again, very nice stuff and I have a few that I've had for years and they launder well and still look great FWIW.

Don't believe the pastel hype. Or the pink and purple hype.

🙂 Ted Baker does have some people who love his pastel stuff. I like the stronger colors myself, but some guys can wear the pastels and look good. Ive got a butterscotch and a sapphire that are my favorites. 😉
