Nothing (well, besides the fact that it still has no intakes and the neighbor ran into it). I didn't say I was going to sell it.

I think you spend enough money on your current car. If you still have some left for another car though... Maybe you aren't spending enough? ;):)

I remember test driving one when it was brand new.

Seems like the turbo lag was pretty bad with just the 4banger in a relatively heavy car.

It also seems like it rode pretty cushy, even though it handled well. in 1986 not many people could figure out what the hell 16" wheels were good for except costing you a fortune at the tire store. Of course most Stang owners were still a little pissed at Ford about the whole TRX wheel/Michelin tire fiasco.

I also remember it was silver :) The interior was way cool for an 86 model, long ways ahead of most anything else.

Friend of mine's girlfriend had one, hers was black and she was HOT. ;)

ask if it has a self adjusting clutch.

why you ask...

mine did and it had a three inch cable with 2 lead balls crimped on each end ,it was from the clutch fork to a bracket but to change it(every 2 weeks to 6 months)you had to push the clutch pedal down then unhook the long cable from the plastic housing on the pedal(stripped out twice in a year)crawl under the car hook up the short cable(the one with the 2 lead balls)then push the long cable into the car crawl out climb in and hook up the long cable(which entailed pushing the cable to/through the floor then in one motion pulling the cable as far out as possible then holding it where it came through the firewall and using your free hand work it around the "c" looking plastic holder(stripped above)and proceed to pump the clutch to remove slack.

the part was 6.25 and when it went out you had no clutch so i speed shifted the 50 miles to the nearest dealer in arkansas that had it and cchanged it in their lot.oh yeah it was a special order part.
there was no fix when i sold the car 14 cables later;)

good luck

hope this helps
