Looks cool... about time the Thinkpads started getting more consumer focused, but I wonder how durable it is compared to the current T series.

As for screen resolutions, SXGA and WXGA are hard to compare, as they don't have the same aspect ratios.

The standard 4x3 aspect ratios include: XGA = 1024x768, SXGA = 1280x1024, SXGA+ = 1400x1050, UXGA = 1600x1200.

Wide screen resolutions (for computers) are generally a 16x10 aspect ratio: WXGA = 1366x768, WUXGA = 1920x1200.

Wide screen is nice when you're watching movies, or if you like to work with two windows side by side. My T42p has a SXGA+ screen and I love it, but my 2005fpw desktop is running at 1680x1050 (non standard?) and i love working with it.
