What do you think of the Acer AL1715SMD 17" Flat panel ??

I can't comment on that specific LCD, but I can comment on Acer LCD's in general. A few weeks ago I bought the Acer AL1912 form newegg on a 1 day sale. As with the one you are looking at, the comments were good. I couldn't be any more pleased than I am with the Acer LCD. No bad pixels, terrific picture, good contrast, color, brightness and sharp text. Acer tends to get overlooked in these forums, but IMO, they are a good value.
