He sounds like a sheriff from a Western movie who's about to single handedly take down some crooks for pillaging some poor farmer's ranch.

I've noticed this about him before. Is there a reason why he hasn't had a potential presence in the Republican party as the next president? I bet he could deliver a pretty good speech with some practice.

I don't know anything else about him, though.

I think it is the Prudishness of the Republicans that has held him back... his last name offends them

Dishonest, foolish, ideologically corrupt (I haven't checked his finances) buffoon is my impression. Used car salesman is another impression, moreso than most politicians.

Not that this prevents his ascension in the GOP.

The Republicans have been fooled by a lot worse.

Is he changing parties? Or are you claiming that the Republicans are going to take 78 house seats in the 2010 election? If you are, we should definitely bet on it. Let it be known that I'm taking any and all bets on the Republicans gaining control of the House in the 2010 elections.

Newt II ?
He may be Newt's 2nd in 2012

Unless he wants to trade his wife dying of cancer in for his young secretary, he'll never be Newt II.

People don't care about that shit. It only takes an angle and $700,000,000 to be a bright and shining star.

Meh, not crazy about him. Very wooden and doesn't have any ideas more creative than his counterparts. Tax cuts, tax cuts, tax cuts.

Well I see a serious problem trying to run on cultural issues if Newt is on the ticket, he's radioactive in that regard.

He was run out of town for a reason, I know a lot of people like to pretend that didn't happen, but it did.

Coming from the guy whose party includes: Barney Frank, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and the ultimate used car salesman Joe Biden. None of them are dishonest, foolish etc. We all know your a hack so come on. Pot meet kettle.

And no Boehner definitely won't be the majority leader in 2010 unless there is unbelievable screw up by democrats which is entirely possible but not likely. The Repbubs have screwed the pooch and will be in the minority for a while.

What does $700 million have to do with anything?

Have you been looking at how many of the Democrats are turning up as corrupt? You're a blind partisan hack.

Where did I say there are no corrupt democrats? I've posted numerous criticism of some.

You lack reading comprehension, integrity to check your facts, civility and a clue.

Funny you said that, because when I read that, I thought the exact same thing.

He'll be reduced to even more irrelevance when Repubs inevitably look terrible for opposing the bailouts when the economy recovers before the 2010 elections.
