...and the table top doesn't have the white protective coating, personally i love it more then the majority of glass tables i have seen....
Losing 1.2ghz on the pentium d 820,did it still feel like a good upgrade going with the e2140?
Looks capable to me.
Your desk is better too; I'm using a $20 desk I salvaged from a hotel fire sale.
Well... same case it looks like. You know, it's not a bad computer... I dropped in a faster processor, some more RAM and another 80GB HDD and it's a great backup computer. I think mine had an 830, I don't remember what I dropped into it, except it runs much hotter...![]()

My desk is nearly identical to yours, except mine has round wooden handles, and the table top doesn't have the white protective coating, personally i love it more then the majority of glass tables i have seen, and basically love it more then any of the yucky cheap crap particle wood desks....
When I was a dispatcher, I had a glass top desk... that piece of glass was MINE!!! It went to every desk I transferred to. I miss it to this day...
AH!!! There it is in all it's glory...

You can't really compare raw clock speeds like that. A Conroe derivative like the E2140 is much faster than a P4 like the Pentium D 820 on a clock-for-clock basis.
Goodness.oh yess, I've hacked up one of those dells to fit a 7970 in, good times
Isn't there a show your desk thread already?
You need to actually put in some search parameters, Gillbot. The site can't read your mind even if you are a bot.
Which is why I can complain about it. This is OT, not a tech section.
