How'd you get your desktop to be so pretty? HOw did you do that to your IE and your taskbar.

Really though, why load the desktop with program folders? I just keep my desktop so i can see the angels in it. lots of junk, but, i move it arround my pics.

OMG DannyLove, M$ couldn't make a messier desktop and Windows tend to put things everywhere. You must post a shot of your startmenu tree.

It's alright.

I've always liked the black background (looks like the icons are floating in space). Don't care too much for the window graphics...too big.

Nice effects on the windows and task bar but I personally dislike the MS Office Task Bar. Also I have a thing about not allowing programs to take up residence (and resources) in my system tray. To each his own though and if you are happy with it then life is good.

Anyway, narse, your desktop is...well, a desktop. Pretty boring really. I mean, the IE thing is kinda cool. Really though, it's pretty monochrome.

My desktop has a big picture of the Porsche 911GT riding through some desert area in the Southwest US (probably AZ or NM) and 6 icons.

Its not onle IE thats like that, its every window, its pretty cool you can get other theames as well its a program called chroma, I am just playing around with it, I am tired of Win2k standard desktop. Now all I need is some wallpaper, You guys got any ideas?
