What do you think of Live (the band)?

Is this the same band that had a hit called "Lightening Flashes" or something like that? If it is then that is the only song I know of by them. i guess they are ok.

Live rocks.

I saw them at Voodoofest in New Orleans a few years ago. The lead singer came out during The Counting Crows set and did a few songs with them. It was quite cool.
 
I think they're great but their albums are like a pile of shyte with some golden nuggets thrown in, if you dig enough you can find so good stuff.

 
This is one of those bands that I used to really like, but for some reason they just did not stand the test of time for me. I remember listening to my Throwing Copper cassette until the tape snapped; I used to love the band. Now I just can't stand them.

Maybe my tastes have changed, but there are plenty of other bands that I used to love and still do. Whatever the reason, I think they had their moment in the sun, but I don't really see them being held up as one of rock's greats in the long run.

Good post. I know I had some bands that I really loved that have since fallen off the face of the earth.
 
One of my all time favorites. anything after "The Distance to Here" not so good.
throwing copper is their best album easily
