I would like to use you as a research subject. Right now my employer has asked me to come up with methods of keeping human beings alive for as long as possible after having been skinned alive. I don't really get [although, it's probably for lack of research] how all the bullshit hype (we can make them grow armor and anti-pest-lasers) works with the actual biochemistry. They'd have to take the huge DNA sequence and swap each codon for a new codon. That way, it makes a new protein that serves a new function in the organism.

But how can they find out what is beneficial beyond blind testing? (Swap Adenine for Thymine, Cytosine for Guanine)
