Is this show winning him fans or losing them?

On one hand he shows a great side of him by being concerned about Heidi's mother and how he took a shine to the underdog Sam. On the other hand he makes comments like, "you are going to spend the day at my house, its the greatest house in New York sate." and "my house is in Bedford where a lot of really rich people live."

He can be so pompous but maybe its just because he has a right to be.

Umm, he's "The Donald" so he can pretty much do whatever he wants to do. I got a laugh when he said "where all the rich people live"

That being said, the show is fun and it's the best "reality" show out there IMHO.

He just tells it like it is. If you take some sort of offense to "where all the rich people live", then you are just plain jealous.

who said anything about taking offense?

The question is do you think he is winning people over or not? Is he too pompous?

(1) He doesn't need to win people over.
(2) He has ALWAYS been pompous; nothing new there.

He isn't going to sway people one way or another. If people know of him, they either hate or love already. People wont change their minds on it just like you will never convince a democrat that GWB is good and you'll never convince a republican that he is bad.

I didn't say that you DID take offense. I'm making a general statement to the masses in ATOT... Because you just know that there are plenty of people here who dislike him, simply because he is successful. And these dislikes are born from jealously, plain and simple.

I agree and that is why I asked the question. I think he has also gotten a chance to show people who have already formed opinions of him another side to the Donald. Of course he needs to stop showing one certain side, and that would be his hair. ;)

I like him and I didn't have much of an opinion of him before the show. He's seems genuine to me.

He is a pompous bastard, but in terms of fans I don't think he really needed them anyway. He's a business man first and foremost and a celebrity next. I imagine this is quite positive for his image.

Yep, if he's on the show for 4 minutes he probably took 10 out of his day to do it :)

all rich people are pompous and like to brag about their possession, some do it more subtle than others.

With all his money he doesn't need a decent hair style. He could be a big fat slob and still pick up the HOTTEST chicks. Bentleys and $35 millions dollars homes have that effect on women. ;)

He's a hard worker ... He earned his money and my respect.

With that said, I'm jealous of his money .. but not of his hair.

What's the point of having good hair? To get chicks? For self-confidence? I don't think The Don has a problem in either area.

he is pimp in my book.

what he gains out of this is an apprentice. pretty valuable, if you ask me.

i laugh at his hair, but hey, if he's that rich w/that hair, it's cool with me!
