What do you think of Delta's new safety video?

Jesus, what is wrong with this chicks mouth. Her face looks all weird and mis proportioned. I heard that they were getting some good looking lady to do the video, but she kind of scares me.

I think it's another safety video I will never pay any attention to while on a plane.

Here's an idea: scrap the safety video on the plane and play it in a special section within the airports (for anyone that cares).

The FAA mandates it.

My suggestion: forget the semi-cute flight attendant and pilot and just get nude women to do the demo...

They're calling her "Deltalina' (play on Angelina Jolie) in Atlanta.

No pics, I'm at work. Doesn't matter anyways, I'm a dude and wouldn't consider myself good looking, or good looking enough to star in an in-flight safety video.

I think it is just a big to do over nothing special. I've seen way better looking flight attendants.

I realize that, but it's still annoying and ultimately pointless.

Shows how little you know. The safety videos are important for non-frequent fliers, the disabled, children, etc. Also, a reminder of all the steps is important. Repetition makes it less likely that something will be forgotten by a passenger during an emergency. Emergencies do not happen often, but they are not rare enough to preclude the safety information from being presented. Any flight could be "that" flight, and the information is important. Reviewing the safety card is important as well -- emergency exits, layout, and equipment changes from plane to plane. Even someone who has flown a dozen times in a year may be on a different aircraft each time.

Hence why I don't want to get rid of them completely. Read up next time, Mill. It makes for better conversation.

Uh-huh. Because people have time to watch a video in an Airport. How many times a year do you fly?

I watched that under the assumption that there would be something worth seeing. There was not. Explain yourself, OP.

the music is quite good; I think it's less boring than all the other safety videos.

and yes, she looks scary.

i dont see what in the video is causing all the commotion.

and i found that woman strangely hot

think it's better than the live demonstrations they do

edit: the only thing that I can see that might cause minor offense is the way she waves her finger when she talks about smoking

Exit row rules.

besides the smoking thing i liked it, pretty refreshing (compared to the United one when you fly on their A319/320s... and I'm sure I missed some)

Seriously. What's the DOWNSIDE of having the safety video? It's "annoying"? Read a magazine and tune it out.
