I've been a member of Sam's Club, BJ's and Costco. Costco "out-classes" the others.

Stuff isn't cheap enough to justify the $45 yearly membership fee and the time-wasting checkout lines.

It really depends on your purchasing habits. Usually in the first month alone, we save enough to justify the membership fees. For example, Costco has a 2400 PSI, 5HP Honda engine pressure washer from Karcher for $299. Amazon wants $399 and the list price is $469. Again, though, it really depends on your purchasing habits as to whether the membership fees are worth it or not.
