CNET has a reviews website that shows benchmarks like Anandtech.

I'm guessing that CNET has more money than Anandtech, Tomshardware and the rest together.

So what do you think of their Site

i've found their reviews are pretty lightweight. they don't get into the benches much and don't do much analysis. they were much better years ago.

Yup they used to be great..now they've lost their edge, imo.

I read the reviews....just another source...and they do have money out the wazoo..they own Download.com, GameSpot, Mp3.com, mySimon, News.com, Search.com, TechRepublic, Tv.com, Webshots and ZDNet. So you probably ahve run across thier content before.....Pretty good reviews...when they review a product but thats not all the time....their short videos on the product's first looks are nice short and informative

I do use it rarely. My major complaint is that CNET may list 100 products in one category, but there will only be 1-3 reviews. That makes comparisons basically useless. Anandtech tends to do 5-10 items in each review (sometimes more) so that there is enough data to really compare products.

i like the reviews for a general overview.

i prefer the user reviews to get a better idea of what the product is like.

Sometimes the video review are nice too, get a 30 second tour of a product when you can't go play with it in store.

I kinda like their small electronics reviews. Their previews are better though, I don't really trust the reviews.

EXACTLY...they have no extra fluff that we all love...its all basically stuff you already could figure out before you read it
