The 5-series has grown on me, although the rear end is still it's worst feature. All the other designs never grew on me. But at least he didn't make jelly beans.

How about these few other 5 series interpretations that still retain Bangle influence?

#1 looks the best.

#2's rear lights are hideous and #3's rear lights are too small and look like they came off the 3 series coupe.

It's gotten better, only because the management is on his ass, constantly telling him to tone it down. The headlights on the 5 series are still goofy and so is the ass on the 8 series.

I still don't like the Z4 or the 5 and 6 series designs, but the new 3 and refreshed 7 series looks great imo

I actually think the 1 series has a lot of E46 influences. Especially the front end. I personally like all of the newer Bimmers with the exception of the 6 series and the X6. I have not seen the X6 in person though. I also like the E46 and the sport editions of the E39 5 series. The regular E39s and the older 7's don't look so great any more.
