I think that insurance companies are the biggest ripoff. Auto,Home and Health. I pay almost 400.00 a month(taking out of my paycheck) and insurance still tries to get out of paying. Unless its a male pregnancy. They cover 100% of that.

the biggest rip off is the fact if a chicks birth control fails and you happen to knock her up... eventhough you were protected... you have to pay 18 years of child support even if you don't want the kid.

it's a rip off that the broad gets to keep your nuts for the next 18 years.

while i'm not an abortion advocate and it is an entity growing inside a woman... there should be NO reason that a guy shouldn't be able to release himself from all finacial burden because of an accident...

if the chick is so stressed about not wanting an abortion... which i dont advocate... and she wants to keep the child she should have to cover all fincial burdens... or give up the baby when it's born.

and NO this did not happen to me.

biggest ripoff are paying taxes of any kind that doesn't benefit you, and also paying to get on the internet which was supposed to be a free medium. at least i think it should be.

The biggest ripoff?

The fact that just because I worked hard to become moderately successfull the government takes over 40% of my gross income in taxes from me. Meanwhile, because someone else spent their life screwing around (literally and figuratively) they pay virtually no tax and/or get an Earned Income Tax Credit (redistribution of wealth).

The 2nd biggest ripoff is public (government) schools and the Dept of Education. They have taken more and more money in the form of taxes while the quality of education has continually nose-dived. There is virtually no accountability for schools or the teachers who work in them. Just about the only way to get rid of a teacher these days is if he/she has a sexual relationship with a student. Meanwhile, there are teachers who don't know the subjects they are teaching teaching our children.

The 3rd biggest ripoff. I'm paying almost $40 a month for phone service with bellouth and all I have is a phone line and caller-id!

I'd have to agree with the insurance thing, although it is great to have when you do need it but is a pain when you make the claim
I'd also have to agree with the phone, can't dial 1-800 (or its derivitives) or 10-10 numbers without having long distance service, whom in turn charge you $5-$10 regardless unless you use it a certain amount each month. Local service isn't too much better, charging what, about $10 for a freaking dial tone.

Social Security taxes. I don't have a problem with insurance, even though it is expensive.

The fact that resturaunts charge you $3.00 for draft beer when you know that they could charge you $.75 and still make money. Even the soda is overpriced.

Yawp...sure sucks. Abortion should be a matter of choice for both parties involved, not the sole decision of the woman...but that's just me. It's either both or none, no XOR about it...

Continuing on the tax and government theme, I think giving foreign aid to countries that don't need it is a HUGE ripoff.

what phone company do you have? i haven't had a long distance company for over 2 years with two different companies (cox and qwest). i can use 10-10 and 1-800.

my vote for biggest ripoff: Social Security. i'll never get to see it or use it. (i'm only 24). either that or any pair of pants over $40 and any shirt over $20.

Shaving blades.

Even at Sam's Club or Costco Mach3 blades are more than a buck a blade?!??!! I cant comprehend that.

Also,
Beer at sporting events. I was at an NHL game on Wed and paid $5.25 for a 12 oz draft!

One more, contact lens solutions, 8 bucks for a bottle of saline? btw contacts are a rip off too. Lasiks should be FREE that whole eye industry is a racket., imo.

Basically you want to be able to do anything you want without fear of repercussion.

It's her body, let her take the risk... Right?

Shaving blades - that's why they make electric shavers

Actually electric razors are a bigger rip off than blades! 90 bucks later and it doesnt get as close as a blade! maybe the blades arent a ripoff after all

I think tobacco products are the biggest rip. They charge you money to kill you. :|
