Anyway. Sending my current setup to my little bro (gotta love hand me downs) and thinking on which way to lean towards an excellent DDR setup for gaming and overclocking.
Read up on MSI board and the IWILL.
Tyring to get a better impression from those of you that are using these boards. LEt me know what you think.

Also, any real performance difference between 2400 and 2100 DDR?????

consider pc2100 vs. pc2400 like pc133 vs. pc150. i don't think pc2400 is "faster" than pc2100 at an equal speed (like a stock 133mhz fsb), however, pc2400 is rated to get up to a higher speed without "overclocking" (obviously you have to overclock to get up to the pc2400 speed, but the ram itself isn't overclocked since this is its rated speed). that being said, i would get crucial pc2100. as for motherboards, i don't have anything bad to say about the msi or iwill, but there are a lot of good reviews and opinions on the epox 8k7a, and i have had good success with mine...you might want to keep that one in mind as well

First of all best DDR Chipset for Athlon is right now AMD 760. MAGiK1 isn't mature enough, and KT266 isn't mature enough either. Now Motherboard wise for gaming and Overclocking, I'd go with MSI K7 Master or Abit's new KG7-RAID should be great once it's price comes down. What the guys said about PC2400 is correct, you would have to overclock the fsb to 150MHz and then the Memory bus on 760 would be raised to 150MHz and PC2400 Memory is basically guaranteed to run at 150MHz.
